Centrescapes Landscaping is an architect-aligned landscape building company based in the Bay of Plenty, booked through 2026 and looking to grow our team.

We specialise in high-quality hardscape installations, including decks, pools, stonework, paving, retaining walls, and a range of other soft and hardscape elements. Our focus is on creating stunning outdoor spaces while maintaining a supportive, professional, and low-stress workplace.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Centrescapes Landscaping is looking for an experienced hardscape landscaper to join our small, professional team. This role is suited to someone who can hit the ground running, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys being part of a team that builds high-end outdoor spaces across the Bay of Plenty.

You’ll be working across a range of landscape construction projects, including decks, paving, retaining walls, stonework, concrete, pools, planting, and other hard and soft landscaping elements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out high-quality hardscape landscaping work

  • Operate small plant, tools, and machinery safely and confidently

  • Read and interpret project plans

  • Support the team across all areas of the job, including planting, gardening, site clean-up, digging, and moving materials

  • Maintain a tidy, respectful, and safe worksite

  • Ask questions when needed and aim to get the job done right the first time

  • Work well with team members, clients, and their property

  • Step up, solve problems, and help the team meet project milestones

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

We’re looking for someone with proven experience in hardscape landscaping. Experience in carpentry, concrete, masonry, paving, retaining, and machinery operation is highly valued.

  • Strong practical landscaping or construction experience

  • Confidence working from project plans

  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in different conditions

  • A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport

  • Class 2, 3, or 4 licence preferred, but not essential

  • A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality

  • A proactive, can-do attitude

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • A coachable mindset and willingness to keep improving

  • The ability to work well in a small team environment

  • An ownership mindset and pride in the outcome of each project
